In this session, SHI will lead this discussion of several SaaS providers who are meeting the challenges of this emerging market head on.
Speaker Bios:
Henry Fastert is Chief Technologist and Managing Partner at SHI, where he has overall responsibility for the SHI Enterprise Solution Services (ESS) Group. Leveraging over 25 years of IT experience, his responsibilities include both strategic and operational direction for ESS, as well as providing expertise on infrastructure design, data center consolidation, and technology consolidation to SHI’s largest customers.
He comes to SHI from Unisys, where he was responsible for their North American professional services organization. His responsibilities included business development and service delivery, as well as providing deep expertise on ERP, Business Intelligence, infrastructure design, and data center consolidation. Prior to joining Unisys, he spent five years as VP and Chief Technologist for Melillo Consulting.
Connectem Inc. is an early stage company focused on transforming the Mobile Core infrastructure from a Node dimensioned architecture to a Cloud dimensioned architecture. Carriers are looking for ways to dramatically change the economics of connecting millions, even billions of devices to wireless networks. Rob Calfee has been in the IT Industry for over 20 years, both military and commercial. Over the last 12 years Rob focused on Application Lifecycle Management and Application Performance Management, especially in the cloud and mobile spaces. Rob's commitment to customer success and satisfaction has helped many customers successfully implement solutions to support highly critical business applications across the Application Lifecycle, delivering both in-house and cloud hybrid solutions. Over the last 12 years Rob has worked in sales, presales engineering, and consulting at Quest Software, Veritas, HP/Mercury, and CA/Wily. After partnering with J9 Technologies over the last 5 years, Rob came on board as Director of Sales in 2010, bringing a tight partnership with HP and VMware to drive business growth in cloud and mobile application lifecycle management solutions.
Craig is a co-founder of GenuFi Inc., an online media solutions provider. Craig has worked in cutting edge innovation and technology his entire career. He began in the aerospace industry as a Space Systems Software Engineer where he developed software for rocket control systems. Always intrigued by the nexus of creativity and technology, Craig has experience in videogame development, web design, web hosting and founded a digital cinema company. Just prior to starting GenuFi, Craig fought against Internet movie and television piracy on behalf of the major Hollywood studios. During this time, Craig also explored emerging trends, such as automated content recognition and viral distribution.
A highlight of Craig's previous online endeavors is PetBond.com, a pet adoption site that has helped find new homes for thousands of animals.
Craig holds a B.A in Physics from Gettysburg College and a BS in Computer Science from National University.
Raj has over 20 years of high-tech software experience. As president of Zoho Corp, Raj is involved in developing and executing strategies for both ManageEngine and Zoho software divisions. ManageEngine is a leading provider of IT management software and Zoho is one of the most popular cloud-based business applications providers in the world. Prior to Zoho, Raj was CEO of Embarcadero Technologies, a leader in database management tools. Before Embarcadero, Raj was director of business development for BMC Software.
Zoho Corp is the parent company to three software divisions - WebNMS, ManageEngine and Zoho. WebNMS is a leading provider of OEM network management software for the telecom industry. Cunningham helped grow Seagate Software, including piloting the organization through $350 million worth of acquisitions. Cunningham’s accomplishments also include serving as president and COO of Veritas Software, and founding, building, and leading two other successful software companies. Terry brings to i365 a wealth of knowledge and great strength in building teams, driving organizational vision and growth, and catalyzing business success.
